Berida is a working grazing property near Bendemeer in Northern NSW, offering a private hunting and camping experience across classic New England country. With ridge-top vantage points, timbered gullies, and sweeping valley views, it’s ideal for hunters who enjoy a mix of spot-and-stalk and still hunting.
Fallow Deer are the main drawcard but you will also find feral pigs, foxes, rabbits/hare and feral cats. Hunting is available by rifle and bow, with the rut being the best time to book.
For non hunters, you can hike the hills or ride a mountain bike, get a photo on piano hill or just take in the view from ridge line. You can throw a kayak in the dam or a fishing line in the dam to try and catch a rainbow trout, catfish or sliver perch.
Camping is simple and off-grid—bring your own gear and enjoy quiet nights under big skies, with water close by and Bendemeer only a short drive away for supplies. Access to the farm is straightforward, but a 4WD is recommended for getting around the property, especially after rain.
